Fameaftertheglory began the season over fences but has reverted to hurdles in better form, following a narrow defeat in novice company at Down Royal with another in a Punchestown maiden. Winning bumper Smooth Player did better when stepped up to 2m4f at Naas but dual bumper winner THECOMPANYSERGEANT had a battle with eventual winner Bialystok over this trip on the latter track and only went down by a head. He can go one better though Mollys Glory looks a major threat as she was only beaten half-a-length at Thurles before finishing mid-division in a Grade B handicap at Leopardstown.
