The return to action of JEZKI has been eagerly anticipated and he's reported to be on track for a crack at the Stayers Hurdle. The 2014 champion hurdler couldn't retain his title against Faugheen a year later but then won championship events over 2m4f and 3m at Aintree and Punchestown the same year. Whether he's spot-on for this and the trip is now on the short side is another matter but his class can see him through. Willie Mullins runs Renneti, a dual winner over hurdles and a smart stayer on the Flat, and Sure Reef, whose promising run at Punchestown last month was the first since landing a Grade 2 novice hurdle at Leopardstown three years ago. Tombstone could prove the main threat as he finished a close second in two Grade 1 novice hurdles last season before a fair run behind Altior in the Supreme Novices' at Cheltenham.
