Winning bumper Glen Wyliin made a couple of late mistakes when runner-up over the trip at Fairyhouse which won't have helped but it will be a surprise if he's not in contention here. Hemlock won a Perth bumper before coming here for a Listed contest where he was beaten a long way and disqualified when his rider weighed in light. The Flier Begley has been placed in a point and three bumpers and makes his hurdling debut but the vote goes to BELLE METAL. An impressive Limerick bumper winner, she started odds-on for her hurdling debut here but her jumping left plenty to be desired and her jockey reported she had made a noise.
