Verdict

The three-year-old Arcanears took advantage of heavy ground to win a Curragh maiden in May so some rain would help. Fuwairt has been in very good form but hasn't raced over a trip this short since 2014. AMANAAT hasn't won on Turf but likes it around here and may have been a bit unlucky not to concede Enter The Red 11lb here ten days ago so looks the one to be on from just 1lb higher. Miss Power finished strongly into third in that latter event so has to be considered but Sors, who wasn't far behind in fifth, appeared to have every chance. Tammy Wynette looked like winning that day when taking the lead 1f out but faded into sixth. That was her first start since July so she's no forlorn hope to reverse the form.
