Verdict

Testing conditions will make this a stamina sapper but that won't bother ROMANESCO, who would have been heading for a four-timer but for coming to grief when clear at Cheltenham last month. Gordon Elliott left him in the UK to gain compensation at Fakenham and with Ruby Walsh on board the progressive seven-year-old can add another victory to his tally. Like Your Style won a Punchestown handicap over fences in May and warmed up for this with a very good run over timber at Naas. He'll be difficult to keep out of the frame and though Tofino Bay is only a novice his form is very strong and he gave supporters of the prolific Baily Green a fright at Cork last time. Orpheus Valley has returned to action after a very long break in fine shape and could hardly have been more impressive at Roscommon last time while Ballyburke, who has had just four runs over fences, is nicely weighted and looks the type to go on to better things.
