In depth

Verdict

Several of these arrive in top form including Phil The Flyer, who returned after a break to score over 2m4f at Cork last month. AFATCAT finished runner-up over fences at Ballinrobe then took advantage of a lower hurdles mark to win in good style at Galway. He's been raised 9lb but is progressive enough to complete a double. Cillian's Well was having just his third start over timber when gaining a convincing victory in a Tramore maiden and could have been let in lightly while Effernock Lad, who had been racing over further, dropped back to this sort of trip and gained a battling success at Bellewstown. There are numerous dangers in a tough event including top weight Little Haarth, though he may prefer a longer trip, and Crown Theatre, who is 17lb lower than his chase mark.
