Verdict

Gallant John Joe is consistent enough but on a long losing run and finished tailed off when runner-up at Naas. FIL DOR, scored at Grade 2/3 level over timber and finished runner-up to outstanding stalemate Vauban in three Grade 1's in the spring. He can make a successful chasing debut though Saint Roi ran in seven successive races at the highest level over timber before a disappointing effort in a Tipperary Grade 3 in the summer. The lightly-raced dual hurdles winner Slip Of The Tongue is likely to make solid progress while Percy Warner looked a smart prospect when completing a hat-trick in 2020/21 and has changed stables.
