Verdict

Island Villa had been narrowly beaten on several occasions before landing the odds in a Clonmel maiden - this is much tougher. Mr Cosmopolitan has been chasing where he's been running well enough to be considered for this. College Boy looked to have been brought with a perfectly timed run here a fortnight ago but was caught on the line by Grand Partner. Might Be Magic generally does his best and a strong gallop in testing conditions is just what's required. Chakisto has had a couple of narrow defeats but should have won by now and keeps climbing the weights. Mick The Boyo was making his handicap debut at Wexford on St Patrick's Day and showed massive improvement to chase home Westerner Point but BOG WAR may be good enough as he has done better since stepping up to 2m4f and was only just denied over that trip at Punchestown last month. Occidental Lady showed nothing in maidens so it was a surprise when she came with a strong run to score on testing ground at Limerick two weeks ago. Swantykay should win again soon but has his first race since October and would appreciate quicker ground. Dollar And A Dream hasn't shown much but anything lurking near the foot of a handicap trained by Tony Martin has to be respected.
