Verdict

Come On Gruff has won a maiden and a novices’ handicap this season but tries a new trip. LADY KK was a little disappointing following wind surgery here in February but her overall record over hurdles is better than most in this contest and she might be worth another chance. Blairgowrie and Taunton winner Don Alvaro are still heading in the right direction and should make their presence felt but Grangeclare Glory may have gone off the boil. Sheldon could figure eased further in the weights and Arthur's Seat is also worth a market check. Chloe's Court, however, has gone up 7lb for winning at Wincanton.
