Verdict
Silvergino, Caribbean Cove and Bobsbest are three against the field in this novices handicap chase and the vote is given to Silvergino. The selection won well last time out when beating Silverbrook Lad in good style and although he has a penalty for that win he again has conditions to suit and may still be ahead of the handicapper so he will be hard to beat. Caribbean Cove rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Paxford Jack but this looks much more competitive and at likely odds here looks worth taking on. Bobsbest is another that is worthy of respect on his best form but he often finds less than expected off the bridle and for that reason he is opposed. Montys Island is another that could go well despite top weight but he has been let down by his jumping of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. This is a very tricky affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Silvergino.
