Verdict

FLEDGED looks to have the strongest form and stands out in this. John Gosden's colt finished in front of a subsequent winner when runner-up at Newmarket last time and should have the edge on Battalion. The latter was only caught close home at Leicester a fortnight ago, however, and is preferred to Hold On Tight, third at Kempton on her reappearance. The remainder have plenty of catching up to do if they're to figure including the thoroughly-exposed Shamaheart.
