Verdict

Equitania made a bright enough start over 5f at Ascot to be sent to the Royal meeting for the Albany Stakes though she never got competitive. This is a big drop in grade and she should be in the firing line but CUT NO ICE caught the eye on her debut at Leicester and gets the vote. Paul Cole's filly is the 17th foal of a mare who has produced 12 winners including the speedy Pipalong. She was outpaced early over that minimum trip but stayed on nicely and will have come on a bundle for the run. Dali's Lover is bred to be speedy and Spicy could prove a big threat as her pedigree screams pace being a half-sister to 5f juvenile Listed winner Geesala and out of a winning sprinter.
