In depth

Verdict

Nicky Henderson is putting together a talented squad of novice hurdlers for the Cheltenham Festival and CHANTRY HOUSE (NAP) is taken to book his place at the big one by remaining unbeaten under Rules. He appeared to score with something up his sleeve at Cheltenham in December and should improve again for that pleasing reappearance. The likes of Mahler's Promise, Java Point and L'Air Du Vent have all revealed promise in novice hurdles and are respected along with Namib Dancer and River Tyne. L'Air Du Vent is especially interesting after wind surgery, whilst it's intriguing to see Alan King pitch Tremwedge in against his elders for this stable debut.
