        Bilboquet (FR) Difficult to evaluate the value of his French form. Most recent win came at Auteil in September last year (2m2f,soft).

        Fondmort (FR) French import who battled well to win at Kempton on his British debut. The runner-up has won since. His connections like him a lot and he has to play a hand here.

        Konker Three-time winner for Mary Reveley this season. Including the rider's allowance, he'll be getting 10lbs from the top two here. Entitled to respect on that basis.

        Koji (NZ) Long absence and most unlikely that he'll feature here.

        Maximus (IRE) Maiden point-to-point winner and also won on hurdling debut on soft ground at Plumpton. Likely to improve but, on the bare evidence of that, would need to.

        McEnroe (NZ) Unraced 9-year-old and unlikely to feature here.

        Michel De Moeurs (FR) Best effort to date came when third to Flagship Colm in a handicap hurdle at Kempton in first-time blinkers. Didn't run so well next time and they are now left off. Entitled to run well here on the basis of that run. Doesn't always find a lot off the bridle.

        Titan Modest on the flat at 7/8f. Acted on soft. Slipped up on hurdling debut. Can't be fancied here.

        Little Pippin Hasn't run since May 2000. Winning handicapper on the flat (rated 85), stays 12f and acts on soft. Stable's runners usually improve for a run.
