Verdict
This looks to be one of the best bumpers seen in the UK this season with several unbeaten records on the line including those of Roll Along and Pepporoni Pete but the vote goes to the four-year-old Pressgang who could hardly have been more impressive than when winning on his debut here last month and he is taken to follow up. Spartacus Bay is closely matched with Roll Along on their running at Warwick last month and both have to be respected along with Wincanton winner Pepporoni Pete, who has shown a liking for today's ground. Albertas Run has won both his two starts but has a double penalty to carry and this looks tougher, while Oakapple Express has failed to add to his debut success in two subsequent starts. Lulow scorer Ringaroses and Lingfield winner Dubai Sunday are others worthy of a mention but Pressgang looked one to keep on the right side of when scoring here last month and gets the vote to follow up.
