Verdict
Encipher, a winner over 7f here on his second start, will likely be a warm order in this as he should relish middle-distances this year but AL MADHAR could come to the aid of bookmakers. He pounced late to beat another Godolphin runner, Al Suhail, on debut at Newmarket and the runner-up won his next start and went on to place in a couple of Group 3 contests. Vintage Rascal was also a debut winner last year, at Windsor, but could be up against at least a couple of smart performers. Inherent is making his debut but could be anything being a son of Dubawi and the first foal to race of his stable’s dual Group 1 winner Integral.
