        Verdict

        A tough race to call here for punters and the market will be very informative but the principals look to be Midcap,Puya and If Dubai and the tentative vote is given to Midcap. The selection was a fair second behind Castanzasa last time out. That form sets the standard in the context of this race and she need only;y run up to that mark to win this. Puya rates the main danger on her latest second behind Maggie Jordan but that was 287 days ago and she may just need the run so she is passed over for that reason. If Dubai is a well bred sort from a top yard so should be noted in the market but she looks sure to improve for the run. Of the remainder Sambarina showed enough in two runs last season to suggest she could win a race of this nature but she is another that may just need the run after a 380 day absence and for the winner we return to Midcap.
