Verdict
Sapa Inca would not be winning out of turn and is definitely one for the short-list, despite top weight, but Young Merlin disappointed again on his handicap debut. Admirals Bay left previous form behind when successful at Yarmouth but this is a slightly better race. NATTY NIGHT has picked up a penalty for winning at Lingfield on Tuesday but soft going clearly suits Bill Muir’s charge and he can complete a quick double as conditions may not be ideal for April’s Sandown third Zuba.
