Verdict

Whitecrest and Cape Royal filled the places at Brighton last time with Welsh Inlet back in fifth while Festival Dance was a winner on fast ground at the same track last month though today's slow surface is a worry for her. Catalinas Diamond doesn't win very often and both victories so far have been on the Polytrack including her latest at Lingfield. A back to form Colourbearer would go close in this company but, judged on her latest second at Chepstow, SUPERIOR EDGE looks capable of winning off her current mark and she gets the nod with Richard Hughes taking over the reins.
