In depth

Verdict

Tony McCoy takes over the reins on DIAKTOROS for this. The latter finished clear of the third when runner-up at Wetherby on his introduction and that looks stronger form than Pitter Patter's debut victory at Towcester. The remainder with experience have some catching up to do to match the principals though Morello Royale finished ahead of Flute Bowl when third over track and trip last month and should be thereabouts. Palermo Don is a half-brother to stable star Overturn amongst others and is worth noting for any significant support on his racecourse debut.
