Luca Cumani has not had a great deal of luck with his runners of late but is taken to have a change of fortune here with the vote going to Bauer, who is preferred to Coup d'Etat and Transvestite. The last mentioned has performed consistently all season but may now be a shade high in the weights and may struggle to give weight away all round. Fort Churchill may not find things easy under his penalty for Wednesday's win at Sandown, while Great View has disappointed of late and may now be a shade high in the weights. Eldorado remains on a handy mark but is hard to win with, while Divine River is less exposed than most of these and has a nice racing weight. Coup d'Etat can again be expected to be thereabouts but preference is for Bauer, who has done little wrong this term and he is taken to give Luca Cumani a deserved winner after a luckless week.
