Verdict
Most of these return to action but are entered in the top races. Latest Generation and Maximal finished down the field in a Group 3 at Newmarket in October while River Alwen never figured in Listed company at Haydock. Set Point won in soft going at Nottingham but Hurricane Lane made a winning debut at Headquarters when beating a subsequent winner and the Godolphin colt can figure. The Gosden yard has won three of the last five renewals, including with the fillies Shutter Speed and Star of Seville, and SENITA lines up for this. A novice winner at Redcar, she’s partnered by Frankie for the first time and this longer trip will suit the Oaks entry. Tasman Bay beat an odds-on favourite at Newcastle last month but Scope was due to run at Newmarket yesterday.
