In depth

Verdict

The form of Hathiq’s second in a Newmarket maiden has worked out very well. But there are a couple of lively challengers in the shape of Richard Hannon’s Majeste, who holds a Group 1 entry and shaped well on his debut and VIA EGNATIA from the John Gosden yard, who was getting the hang of things late on in a decent looking novice event at Yarmouth. The latter makes most appeal with Godolphin's Serengeti Sky looking the pick of the newcomers.
