Verdict

Three recent winners attempt to shrug off a rise in the weights. Joe Packet beat Monarch Maid a length at Salisbury last week and is penalised along with Tuesday's winner at Bath, Dangerous Age. Hipz is upped 3lb for scoring at Windsor last time and could be thereabouts but it may be the turn of GREAT EXPECTATIONS to get his head in front. The latter is a rare winner nowadays but his latest second at Chepstow suggests he may be up to landing this.
