Juan Elcano found only Mystery Power too good in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes at Newmarket last month. But the latter is trained by Richard Hannon and that should give the handler a good line on the chances of SUN POWER in this having also sent out last year’s winner. Beaten only a neck in Listed company at Ascot, he’s weighted to beat the novice winners Sesame Birah and Thunderous on today’s terms. The latter remains unbeaten and is preferred to stable companion Frankel's Storm while Pyledriver made a winning start at Salisbury with a subsequent winner back in third but needs to take a big step forward to figure.
