Verdict

Beast Of Burden was always going well and shot clear of his rivals in a Ffos Las bumper in October. He looks a nice jumping prospect but, on the prevailing ground, may struggle to match the pace of Flat winner COMMUNICATOR (NAP). Andrew Balding's charge, fourth in the November Handicap on his latest start on the level, was only beaten three lengths by the smart Josses Hill in this last year and several winners came out of that contest. The mare Hannah Just Hannah only found one too good at Towcester last month but may need further than this. Laser Hawk disappointed at Ludlow after finishing third at Chepstow but there should be more to come from Allnecessaryforce and ex-pointer The Doom Bar. Twelve Strings will be worth noting in handicaps.
