      Verdict

LONGLAI finished well beaten in second at Doncaster on his debut but the winner went on to place in a Group 2. He’s preferred of the three Hannon runners and should also have the measure of Rhoscolyn. The betting may offer some clues as to the remainder but Rainbow Fire is a full brother to a couple of winners and is preferred of the Gosden pair while Legend Of Dubai cost 500,000gns as the first foal of a Group 1 winner and makes more appeal than stablemate React. Rushmore also cost 500,000gns and looks first choice of the Balding runners while Storm Dreamer and Oman represent the Beckett yard with the former related to a couple of winners. Ryan Moore partners Maximal and Barn Owl is another note.
