The ground has finally turned in STRONG SUIT's favour and he's the one to beat in this. Richard Hannon's charge was kept ticking over with an outing in the July Cup last month and last year's dual Group 2 winner is a cut above these if back to his best. The consistent Chachamaidee beat Libranno and Edinburgh Knight in the Lennox Stakes at Goodwood last time but couldn't get within four lengths of the selection at Newmarket last season and Pastoral Player could prove a bigger threat. He had Red Jazz behind when just failing in the Summer Mile at Ascot recently but won a Group 3 over today's trip at Haydock before that when Majestic Myles finished runner-up. The progressive sprinter, Soul, won over 7f when trained in Australia and makes more appeal than Irish raider Alanza.
