Verdict
John Gosden runs the newcomer Perigeo, a son of Sadler's Wells, in this 1m3f maiden race but, unless he proves to be better than average, this should go to one of those with racing experience. Of those, Mick Channon's Dileer has done little wrong in two defeats so far and should again be thereabouts as should Sir Michael Stoute's Gamut, who found only Prince Hector too good in a Newmarket maiden in November. Henry Cecil's Handa Island is probably better than he showed in two starts last term but needs to improve.
