In depth

Verdict

King Of Argos is the selection, with Dyanita, Topjeu and Mustammer to give him most to do. This does not look the easiest of getting-out stakes, and only a tentative vote goes to King Of Argos who shaped with promise when eighth behind Derby fancy Hala Bek here in April. Ed Dunlop's charge has as good a chance as any, with the filly Dyanita in with a shout as well if you take out her luckless run at Folkestone where she lost all chance when running wide at the bend after two furlongs. Prior to that, Barry Hills's filly has finished third to the useful Leningrad at Lingfield, so has to be respected. Topjeu makes his debut but the Cumani stable have rarely had a better start, while Mustammer is probably better than he showed on his Kempton bow. All in all, this could be informative, but King Of Argos may just be good enough.
