      Verdict

      Prior's Lodge has put up a number of respectable efforts in similar company including when a staying-on second behind Atlantis Prince at Goodwood late last month. However, the drop in trip may not be ideal but stablemate and last year's winner, Umistim, should go close at this level after being outclassed in the top grade this term. Patsy's Double had Granny's Pet behind when caught close home at Chester recently and is weighted to confirm placings but would have preferred more give underfoot.
