In depth
Formwatch
Saddler's Quest is a likeable colt who could be worth taking a chance on here after a lay-off. Last year's Lingfield Derby Trial winner has been sidelined for nearly a year with a cannon bone injury but is the type to progress this year and won't mind the today's going. Dalampour will contest staying races this year so this trip might be too short for him, plus Sir Michael Stoute's horses are not exactly firing at present. Many in the field are likely to come on a good deal for their seasonal reappearance so Lucido, from the in-form John Dunlop team and already a winner this season, cannot be left out of calculations. Others that warrant consideration are Murghem, who has been disappointing on his travels since winning a Group 2 event here last August; Rainbow High, from the in-form Barry Hills stable and dropping back to 12 furlongs; one-time Derby hopeful, St Expedit, and last year's Chester Vase and Italian Derby runner-up, Windsor Boy.
