Verdict
Winkelmann showed his first sign of real ability last time for the Flint team and could progress again. However, he won't find it easy to concede 4lb to the lightly-raced DREAM CATCHING. Andrew Balding's charge should improve on achievements to date, has not been beaten at all far in three of his four runs and houses the best single piece of form when third to Jawwaal at Kempton in late May. Marshall Dan is hard to assess and this is only a second start on Turf for the Lawman colt but enters calculations on the best of his form on artificial surfaces. Affluence has been generally disappointing but does have a claim on the strength of his penultimate effort when a Leicester runner-up, whilst Champagne Bob is down to a favourable mark.
