Verdict
A very interesting maiden and notebooks should be kept close to hand. And Horner is given a slender vote to get the better of Maaloof and State Dilemma of those with previous experience - while look-outs should be posted for moves on Peak Of Perfection, Moonlight Tango and Putra Sas. However, Horner appeals at the likely prices as the value selection after a couple of fair efforts at Chester and York earlier this season - the latter of which looks solid in the context of this race. The return to a more conventional surface will also be in the Rahy colt's favour and a bold show is expected from him today. Maaloof, like the selection, has some big-race entries and is difficult to pass over. But the form of his debut has taken a few knocks and he is not one to go overboard about in the absence of a solid betting guide.
