      Verdict

Only two of these have previous experience so the market will probably be the best guide to a maiden won last year by last week's St Leger winner Kingston Hill. HATHAL is out of 1000 Guineas winner Sleepytime and related to two winners. He has an entry in next year's Irish 2000 Guineas and can make a winning start, though McCreery is also well connected behind a half-brother to smart miler Thistle Bird. Puissant is also interesting as he's a full brother to the top-class Adelaide, though is by Galileo so may need a bit further than this. Winterval is another who will appreciate longer distances in his second season but Sir Alex Ferguson's Miracle Ninetynine will be expected to win races sooner rather than later.
