        Verdict

        This looks a lot weaker than the first division with King Of Kudos' second to Liber at Bath arguably the best form, though he was flattered by his proximity to the easy winner in a four-runner race. Grand Denial and Valais Girl have shown some ability but it will be a surprise if one of several nicely-bred newcomers doesn't prove good enough to score at the first time of asking. Secondo shouldn't be short of speed and Hughie Morrison's juveniles are always worth a second look here, though Countryman holds no fancy entries. The filly EXEMPT is by successful sire Exceed And Excel and she gets a tentative vote.
