Verdict
Red Roman won at Goodwood and was then a good fifth at York but he didn’t appear to stay when tried over this trip at Newmarket earlier. Bombastic took a backward step last time at Salisbury but should appreciate this extra furlong on breeding. Dragons Tail is tough but exposed off this sort of mark while Lethal Lunch was only fourth off his current rating at Sandown. ROGUE beat a subsequent winner at Salisbury last month but start off in handicaps on a fair mark so gets the vote ahead of Epsom scorer Deadly Accurate and Running Cloud.
