Verdict
We reckon that the grader has got this spot one with the 100-rated pair, Lonely Ahead and Gallery Girl, rated as the major players, with the vote going to Lonely Ahead. The selection is very much respected based on a three-and-a-half lengths Lowther Stakes fourth to Flashy Wings and a four-length Moyglare Stud Stakes fifth to Rumplestiltskin. That rates as very good form and she gets the vote. Listed-placed as well as finishing third in the Redcar Two-year-old Trophy race, Gallery Girl has proven herself useful and, with her stable among the winners of late, she can go well. Short Dance was short of room at a crucial stage at Newmarket last time and could yet rate higher, while Mostaqeleh has been brought along slowly but, having won her last two races - including once over course and distance - is very much respected as a potential improver. Plenty of the others are also open to some improvement but, based on those aforementioned ratings, they have something to find in order to score, which returns us to the selection, which is Lonely Ahead.
