In depth

Verdict

A wide open bumper rounds off the card and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the principals look to be Chouxdamour, Beherayn and Fresh Air And Fun and the narrow vote is given to Chouxdamour. The selection is a well bred sort from a yard that does well in this sphere and with his stable in form he is given the tentative vote. Beherayn rates the main danger as he was a fair third on his debut behind Den Of Iniquity. That form looks rock solid and as he looks sure to improve he will not be far away. Fresh Air And Fun is another that could go well as he is a Trans Island gelding, half-brother to winning hurdler Malachy's Attic and he will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Prof de L'Isle is another that catches the eye on breeding but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time and in a race where the market may well tell all, for the winner we return to Chouxdamour.
