Verdict
SENSE OF DUTY found herself short of room, despite the small field, at Newmarket and just failed to catch the winner when finally getting a clear run. The Haggas filly is entered in both the Rockfel and Cheveley Park Stakes and looks the one to beat in this. Me Next failed to show the expected improvement at Bath last time and a newcomer may prove a bigger threat with Ryan Moore partnering Brides Bay and Heredia and Chepchik others to note.
