In depth
Verdict
An interesting maiden with a number of lightly raced and well regarded types in opposition including Fabulous Jet who earns the TEAMtalk vote. Mick Channon's colt was unfancied for his debut earlier in the month at Leicester but stayed on willingly to finish second of 13 over an inadequate 7f. With the outing under his belt and the extra furlong very much in his favour, the son of Starborough should give a good accouint. Ed Dunlop's juveniles tend to improve more than most for a run so Anani can be expected to progress from a promising debut but has been absent since August. It would be no surprise if the well-related newcomers such as Ten Carat and Zeis were to make an impact and should be noted in the market.
