Verdict

All The Aces was a smart performer on the Flat at his best, landing a Listed race at Newmarket in 2009. But he's been below-par in general this year and it remains to be seen if a spell over timber will rekindle his enthusiasm. Carrigmorna King changed hands for £50,000 after winning a maiden point in Ireland in April and should win races under Rules but PROSPECT WELLS sets a decent standard here. He was also useful on the level and has taken well to hurdles, winning at Chepstow before making the smart Steps To Freedom pull out all the stops in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham - he should take all the beating, despite his penalty.
