Verdict

The front-running Next Sensation didn’t last home in the Paddy Power and that may also be the case here. But he should ensure a decent gallop and that will suit LOST LEGEND, who stays further. Jonjo O'Neill's charge is high enough in the weights at present but ran well for a long way over 3m at Ascot last time after beating a decent sort at Bangor and is no forlorn hope in this. Royal Regatta won a novices' handicap at this meeting 12 months ago and generally runs well around here while Monetaire should be cashing in on a falling handicap mark sooner rather than later. Howlongisafoot was fifth at Chepstow, in a race in which Top Gamble was pulled up, and got back to winning ways at Taunton earlier this month and Niceonefrankie goes well fresh so also goes on the short-list.
