      Verdict

After landing a Sandown handicap at this grade, CLASSIC (NAP) stepped up to Class 2 company here and was unlucky in-running so gets the nod to bounce back. Island Bandit has a 5lb penalty for scoring at Sandown nine days ago where he made all but Cabinet Of Clowns takes a step-up in grade after battling to victory at Chepstow. Bodorgan has been going well at this level and Ryan Moore's presence is an obvious bonus while Monte Linas' run at Sandown is best ignored as he couldn't handle very testing conditions.
