Verdict

Despite the good form of Henry Daly's runners, Billyvoddan faces no easy task giving weight away all round here and a better bet looks to be second season chaser CLASSIC FIDDLE, who gets the vote ahead of Private Be. The last mentioned has run creditably in both starts this term and should be thereabouts again but he may be a shade high in the weights and looks best watched. Alan King's Pur De Sivola has been well held in his last three starts over fences, all off the same mark as today, while Peter Bowen's Wetherby winner Yes Sir looked held when falling at Cheltenham last time. New Little Bric did not progress as much as may have been anticipated last term and he is hard to back with any confidence on what he showed following earlier success in his chasing career. Gary Moore's Randwick Roar was good value for his Doncaster win when last seen in February and has every chance if fit for his reappearance but preference is for another runner making their return to action, Classic Fiddle. Nicky Henderson's mare showed decent form as a novice last term, winning first time out, and she is taken to do so again this season.
