Verdict

Monetaire's jumping let him down at Cheltenham earlier this month but he still finished ahead of Ut Majeur Aulmes and Next Sensation in a race in which Rio De Sivola unseated his rider and Anquetta fell three out when still going well. Nicky Henderson's charge is probably a few pounds too high at present, however, whereas the handicapper may not yet have a handle on David Pipe's French import. SOLAR IMPULSE is only a four-year-old and lacks the experience of his rivals but he beat a good yardstick in Turn Over Sivola, who runs earlier on the card, at Wetherby at the start of the month and could follow up in this. Arthur's Secret, another youngster, rates a danger but Rody is best watched on his reappearance.
