Nino Cochise has struggled under his penalty in two starts since his hurdling debut success over course and distance last month and it may be that Charlie Egerton's gelding has to settle for minor honours again and a chance is taken with HIGGY'S BOY first time out over hurdles and he gets the vote ahead of Amore Mio. Emma Lavelle's gelding won his final three starts on the level in Germany and could be of interest on his debut over timber for a stable that is doing well with their runners of late. Anything saddled by Francois Doumen has to be respected and Pour Changer is no exception but he was nothing out of the ordinary on the flat and has looked no better in two starts over hurdles in France. Charlie Mann's French import Moment Present made a creditable start to his new career under testing going at Plumpton recently and he has to be considered but preference is for Higgy's Boy. Nicky Henderson's gelding showed progressive form on the level for Richard Hannon and he may be worth chancing on his first start over hurdles.
