In depth

Verdict

Soliya, Kavaloti and Summer Of Love look the trio to concentrate upon and we side with Soliya. Soliya headed back to France for a Grade 3 event at Auteuil. That was perhaps a little hopeful given the opposition and if she can run up to her form, she has to be the one they all have to beat. That said, her stable are hardly in good form at the moment so any bets have to be tempered with that knowledge. Kavaloti is an interesting recruit to the winter game. Summer Of Love isn't the biggest of individuals and Alan King has done well in placing her to victories. It would be disappointing were they not anything to improve past her this afternoon. Champoturgeon ran in listed grade in France and has to be respected now that he is in the care of Paul Nicholls. Apache Chant ran creditably at Cheltenham at big odds on his latest start so it will be interesting to see if progression is maintained. Trump Call had reasonable handicap form over a mile-and-a-quarter and is watched in the market. Zanir made a fair British debut although the form of the race took a knock at Wetherby earlier in the week. A fair starter and Soliya is put forward as the recommendation.
