Verdict

There was no denying the support given to SHAN VALLEY at Wetherby last week where Mick Easterby's mare defied a couple of mistakes. A 7lb penalty shouldn't prove too much of a burden and she can complete a quick double over this longer trip. Right Enough hasn't had much experience but stamina is his forte as he showed with two fine runs in handicaps recently. The handicapper appears to have set him a stiff task but there's definitely more to come. Watercolours is still a maiden after 18 career starts but has dropped in the weights accordingly while the veteran Teenando was beaten a long way when favourite for this a year ago.
