In depth

Verdict

Top Brass had Fightstar behind when runner-up at Ayr three weeks ago but today's drop back in trip may not suit, while Artic Night also appeared to appreciate the longer distance when second to Rebel Swing over 3m on his latest start. Scrum V seems to save his best for Market Rasen, but Spice bar is progressing well and bids for a hat-trick on his return from a four month lay-off. However, LEWLAUR SUPREME caught the eye staying on well for third-place over 2m at Ayr on his latest start and Jim Goldie's charge looks set to strike here.
